A first for an AGO National Convention! Young organists will give 5-minute, fast-paced talks on a variety of topics. Hear from these up-and-coming musicians about their unique interests and passions.
Topics featured include:
“If the Shoe Fits” by Lindsey Johnson, which will look at alternatives to common organ shoe brands
“Seeing Isn’t Always Believing: Vierne’s Score Errors and How to Interpret Them” by Connor Larsen
“Where Guoyue Meets Organs” by Tracy Qian, which will address how music typically composed for traditional Chinese instruments can be reinterpreted for organ
“From Concert Hall to Church: HYMN TO JOY” by Katrina Liao
